Radiant Announces Business Developments in Alaska

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 19, 2008) - Radiant Energy Corporation, (TSX VENTURE:RDT)("Radiant" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport ("ANC") is proposing to lease airport property to the Company's exclusive Alaskan distributor, Jet Enviro De-Icing, LLC ("JEDI"), on which JEDI would construct and operate a radiant heat de-icing facility employing Radiant's patented deicing technology, following an application made by JEDI in late 2007.

On June 17th Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport issued a Public Notice on its web site that the Airport "proposes to lease Airport land, under Lease Agreement ADA-31572, as follows: APPLICANT: Jet Enviro De-Icing, LLC.; AREA: approximately 28 acres of Airport property...; AUTHORIZED USE: Construct, maintain and operate a radiant de-icing facility based on FAA approved alternatives to conventional glycol based methods."

"This is a very important development for Radiant" noted Larrie Shepherd, Radiant's President and CEO. "The Anchorage airport has more de-icing event days than almost any other airport in the western hemisphere, and is the third largest air cargo airport in the world. While there remain a number of contractual issues to be finalized, JEDI has worked very hard to gain broad recognition of the cost and environmental attributes of Radiant's infrared technology from the airport and the airlines that operate through Anchorage."

About Radiant Energy Corporation

Radiant is the developer and marketer of the InfraTek Deicing System ("InfraTek"). InfraTek is the only non-glycol based alternative approved by the US Federal Aviation Administration for the pre-flight ground deicing of aircraft. Aircraft deicing with InfraTek offers savings to airports and airlines over the use of conventional glycol-based deicing systems, reducing aircraft treatment costs and significantly reducing the negative impact of glycol on the environment.
