Radiant Announces Completion of Private Placement

PORT COLBORNE, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Feb. 26, 2007) - Radiant Energy Corporation ("Radiant" or the "Company")(TSX VENTURE:RDT) developer and marketer of InfraTek®, the environmentally friendly, patented, infrared pre-flight aircraft deicing system, announced acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange") of a non-brokered private placement for 6,380,000 common shares.

The Company received final acceptance from the TSX Venture Exchange for the issuance of 6,380,000 common shares issued at C$0.10 per share for total gross proceeds equal to C$638,000. Finders fees of C$28,000 were paid to a broker based in Ontario calculated on 8% of the gross proceeds of the subscriptions obtained through their efforts. Proceeds, net of commissions and net of filing fees, were C$606,310. The common shares will have a four-month hold period from February 18, 2007.

Two insiders of the Corporation subscribed for a total 2,600,000 common shares for gross proceeds of $260,000. One insider holds directly or controls common shares and convertible debt equal to 22% of the issued common shares. The insider currently holds directly or indirectly 23,604,831 common shares. Included in the insiders holdings are convertible debentures and loans that if exercised could be converted into 8,767,538 common shares. The insider has agreed not to exercise the conversion of the debentures if on conversion the common shares held directly or indirectly will be greater than 20% of the issued outstanding common shares. The insider has also agreed not exercise his shareholder rights on common shares in excess of 19.99% of the outstanding common shares.

Radiant has 95,990,217 shares outstanding after the completion of the above transactions and trades on the TSX Venture Exchange (symbol RDT). The InfraTek Deicing System is the only FAA-approved for use, non-glycol based alternative to the conventional pre-flight ground deicing process. InfraTek offers savings to airports and airlines by reducing treatment costs and by significantly reducing the negative environmental impact of glycol. The InfraTek Deicing System is in use at JFK International Airport, New York, the Newark Liberty International Airport, New Jersey, the Rhinelander-Oneida County Airport, Rhinelander, Wisconsin, and about to commence full operations at the Oslo Airport in Gardermoen, Norway.
