Radiant Communications Announces Departure of President and CEO; Jim Grey Resigns as Board Member, President and CEO After 5 Years with Radiant

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 14, 2005) - The Board of Directors of Radiant Communications Corp. ("Radiant" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:RCX), the largest organization in Canada focused exclusively on providing IP-based data communications and Internet services to the business market, today announced that it has reluctantly accepted the resignation of Jim Grey as President and CEO and as a member of the Radiant Board.

"Jim leaves the company with a strong management team and secure base of recurring revenue from over 10,000 managed business connections" said Chris Worthy, Chairman of the Radiant Board. "Radiant has recently completed a significant financing arrangement which will fund the growth strategy that Jim initiated during his tenure at Radiant. The ability of the Company to raise new capital is attributable to the success the Company has had in penetrating new growth markets for business connectivity solutions. The Board has initiated an external search for a President and CEO. In the interim period Chris Worthy will act as the Executive Chair of the Company in fulfilling the responsibilities of the office of the CEO. Mr. Worthy will be assisted in this capacity by Brian Nixon, a Director of Radiant.
