Radiant Provides Customized Disaster Recovery Solution

FirstOntario Credit Union receives safety net for everyday computing hazards

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 13, 2007) - Radiant Communications Corp. ("Radiant") (TSX VENTURE:RCN), Canada's leading supplier of Broadband Solutions for Business™, announces the launch of a new business continuity disaster recovery solution specifically customized for FirstOntario Credit Union. The Radiant disaster recovery solution provides secure redundant network communications for all 17 FirstOntario branches and 29 ATM's. The Radiant solution also provides for immediate switch over and rerouting of all transaction data to FirstOntario's backup data centre, providing a welcome safety net for everyday computing hazards.

"Security and availability were the two driving factors behind choosing this additional Radiant service," says Michael Walsh, Director of Enterprise Technology for FirstOntario Credit Union. "Absolute security and reliability are critical service issues for FirstOntario and our members. Since our data never touches the public Internet, we can be assured that information is being securely transferred and our services are always available."

Radiant's disaster recovery solution is a product offering in Radiant's AlwaysThere™ Business Continuity Solutions Suite. Radiant's AlwaysThere™ Solutions Suite is a tool kit for small to medium sized businesses, which ensures prescribed businesses remain operational and available in the event of a natural disaster.

Radiant's disaster recovery solution provides FirstOntario Credit Union true business continuity with immediate backup connections at each location, and no single point of failure throughout their entire network. All of FirstOntario Credit Union's data is securely transferred over a private IP network through virtual private networks (VPNs) and encrypted with the widely used Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), offering an extra layer of security.

"We are extremely pleased to be partnered with FirstOntario in delivering state-of-the-art security solutions that help FirstOntario protect and serve their customers," says David Buffett, CEO and President for Radiant. "Radiant continues to develop and launch new AlwaysThere™ applications and business products specifically targeted at delivering sophisticated solutions to market leaders.
