Radius Bank Announces the Promotion of Chris Tremont to Executive Vice President / Virtual Banking

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Jun 8, 2015) -  Radius Bank (www.radiusbank.com), a full-service bank with offices in Massachusetts and New York, recently promoted Chris Tremont to Executive Vice President / Virtual Banking. In this expanded role, Chris will oversee the Bank's leading-edge virtual sales and marketing efforts, an approach developed in response to today's rapidly changing consumer demand towards digital banking channels. Formerly Senior Vice President / Director of Marketing, Chris will also continue to manage the Bank's Marketing and Customer Care teams.

Since joining Radius Bank in 2008, Mr. Tremont has led several innovative product development and marketing initiatives that drive convenience and flexibility for its clients through technology-based offerings, including its newest consumer checking account, Radius Hybrid, as well as full-featured mobile banking for consumers and businesses, personal online and mobile account opening, a website and user experience redesign and more. Chris also oversaw the launch of the Bank's mobile payment and rewards app, Radius Pay, in partnership with LevelUp and the introduction of a debit card rewards program to help pay down student loan debt with SmarterBucks.

Chris recently spearheaded the bank's rebrand from First Trade Union Bank to Radius Bank to better reflect its commitment to innovative products and services while putting clients first. His transformative product rollouts and marketing campaigns have fueled Radius Bank's success and continually gain recognition across the industry for their forward-thinking approach.
