Poker magazine publisher Radoslav Průcha has won the ParadisePoker Tour Prague after coming from behind in a tense heads up battle at the Card Casino in the Czech capital last weekend.

Czech native Průcha beat fellow countryman Luboš Galuška to the ParadisePoker Tour title and EUR 30,000 first prize in EUR 550 buy in main event which attracted 230 players.

After almost doubling up having made a straight to better Galuška's two pair, Průcha quickly evened the heads up chip counts winning a few small pots before nailing his opponent in the final hand.

Galuška raised from the button with 4h 3h and Průcha called, before both men checked the 10d 7h 2s flop.

Průcha check-called on the Ad turn and when Galuška followed his river check on the Ah with a shove, Průcha called showing down the 10c 9s for the winning hand.

After the event the winner was understandably overjoyed. "I've been playing poker for a number of years so to win an event like this is fantastic," he said.

"In many ways the feeling of being the winner is even better than the money! I really enjoyed it; the event was really well-organised and I think it's a great idea, giving normal players the chance to experience a big tournament like this," he added.

"I had some good hands right at the start of heads-up and won a few chips. He lost a few pots and he started to get a bit nervous. He was extremely aggressive but he didn't have the cards to back it up, so I was able to take advantage of that," he concluded.

The final table payouts were:

1: Radoslav Průcha -- Czech Republic -- EUR 30,000

2: Luboš Galuška -- Czech Republic -- EUR 21,300

3: Mariusz Chrusciel – Poland -- EUR 14,000

4: Tibor Boros -- Hungary -- EUR 9,150

5: Bernd Wachter -- Germany -- EUR 6,000

6: Salim Alibas – Germany -- EUR 4,900

7: Ivan Buchbauer -- Czech Republic -- EUR 4,100

8: Jiři Vojta -- Czech Republic -- EUR 3,500

9: Petr Hlavaček -- Czech Republic -- EUR 2,900

The ParadisePoker Tour took place at the Card Casino, Prague, Czech Republic from Wednesday March 2 to Sunday March 6.

The centrepiece event of the five-tournament festival was the EUR 500 + EUR 50 buy in main event which featured a EUR 125,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Last year season I of the ParadisePoker Tour saw Czech native David Huspeka take down EUR 22,000 after a four way deal in the main event.
