RAI now offered to Cogeco Cable's Digital Cable customers in Ontario

BURLINGTON, June 2 - Today on Festa Della Republica, the
Italian National Day, Cogeco Cable announced that it will offer RAI
International to its Digital Cable customers starting June 5. A temporary
promotional source feed will be available on channel 104 starting June 2 with
the full broadcast beginning June 5. RAI International has recently been added
to the eligible list of satellite services by The Canadian Radio-television
and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC).

RAI International is a 24-hour international programming service of
Italy's public broadcaster targeted at Italian-speaking communities. It offers
a broad range of programs including feature films, news and entertainment. RAI
International is currently available in 238 countries around the world,
including the U.S., Latin America, Europe and Asia.

Cogeco recognizes that there is a strong demand for this channel. Ron
Perrotta, VP Marketing Cogeco Cable Inc. notes that "We are pleased to be able
to offer RAI International to our Italian-speaking customers in our footprint
in Ontario. This is yet another great benefit of Digital Cable that will be
appreciated by many of our subscribers."

RAI International will be available as a premium multicultural channel.
This new channel can be added to any of Cogeco's digital cable packages. RAI
International will be available for a free trial to all digital cable
subscribers until July 5, 2005.


Cogeco Cable is the second largest cable operator in both Ontario and
Québec, and ranks fourth in Canada in terms of the number of basic service
customers it serves. Cogeco Cable provides about 1,319,000 revenue-generating
units to about 1,430,000 households passed within its service territory.

residential and commercial customers with analog and digital video and audio
