RAID Inc. Announces New PCIe SSD EBOD Solution for High Performance Storage With 2U, 24-Bay Configuration

ANDOVER, MA--(Marketwired - Oct 29, 2013) - RAID Incorporated, a leader in technical computing and Big Data environments, announces the latest addition to the Ability SSD EBOD line with a 24-Bay PCIe SSD EBOD in a 2U form factor. "Using native PCIe connectivity over miniSAS HD cables, a single ability system can service up to 24 servers and sustain 768GBs full duplex connectivity to all drives -- making this the highest performing SSD solution on the market today," says Dr. Jerry Lotto, RAID Inc.'s CTO. 

The solution boasts driver free installation via native OS support for ease of use, while independent power and cooling allows the storage to remain accessible even in the face of server failure, unlike discrete PCI-E-based SSD storage cards. In addition, the solution has active management controllers with out-of-band access to SMART data.
