METHUEN, MA--(Marketwire - Jun 22, 2011) - RAID Inc. today announces their latest Fusion 2U Quad-Socket server using Intel's latest 10-core E-7 8800 Series CPUs and ioMemory storage technology from Fusion-io. By utilizing ioDrive Duos, the system is capable of sustaining 750,000 IOPS on non-volatile flash, making it a compelling solution for demanding enterprise computing environments. Performance hungry application areas across databases, virtualization and VDI, big data, and cloud computing will all benefit from this system which unites high density core count with high-performance, low-latency ioMemory. This new Fusion 2U 4-Socket server is certified with VMware.
