RAID Inc. to Showcase a 2U 4-Nodes Server Powered by Intel Romley Architecture at SC11


ANDOVER, MA--(Marketwire - Nov 8, 2011) - RAID Inc. will be displaying two of its latest dense Fusion server solutions at SC11, which is taking place in Seattle, WA on November 14-17, in booth #2543.

The Fusion 2U 4-in-1 is based on Intel's latest Romley architecture. Each of the 4 nodes is housed in a 2U chassis with redundant power supplies and [12] 3.5 hot-swappable HDDs. Each node has dual-socket Sandy Bridge-EP CPUs with 8 memory sockets and also two usable PCIe3 slots.

RAID Inc. will also have its latest GPU server on hand at SC11. The new Fusion GPU solution is a 2U server that can hold up to 4GPUs and is based on Intel Xeon dual-socket 5600 Series CPUs with [10] 2.5 hot-swappable HDDs.
