Rainbow Chimes International School for Early Education Celebrating Its 35th Anniversary

Rainbow Chimes, an International School for Early Education Location on Long Island, Will Be Celebrating Their 35th Anniversary This Year; The School Uses a Developmentally Enriched Educational Program for Infants to School-Age Children Along With a High Scope Preschool Curriculum That Prepares Younger Children for Their Educational Experiences in Kindergarten

HUNTINGTON, NY--(Marketwired - August 10, 2015) - Rainbow Chimes has announced they will be celebrating their 35th anniversary this year. The international school for early education opened its doors in 1980 in Huntington, Long Island, where it continues to operate today along with a satellite location in Dix Hills.

The early education center offers a developmentally enriched educational program for children ages two months to ten years, along with before and after school programs and summer camps.

They also offer a successful preschool program using the High Scope curriculum that aims to foster educational curiosity and excitement in order to prepare children for their kindergarten experience.

The school continues to earn accolades and awards both locally and nationally, including "Best of LI" awards two years in a row and numerous invitations to serve on panels discussion how to improve early childhood care and education in the United States.

"We monitor three important elements of our school in order to create a better environment for the children in our care: our staff, our facility, and our curriculum," said Rainbow Chimes Founder Rev. Dr. Kathleen Roche, RN. "We believe that by hiring carefully selected people and putting them in an environment that enhances and supports our curriculum we've created a place that children and their families will love."

Rev. Dr. Roche started Rainbow Chimes along with her husband, Jim Tilden. The couple could not find suitable care for their soon-to-be-born son, so Roche decided to start one herself.

Today the center employs over 50 people and have cared for over 7,000 children during their 35 year history.
