Ramp Continues Enterprise Momentum in First Half of 2015

Recent Product Innovations Prompt Deployments by Global Businesses

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Aug 11, 2015) - Ramp heads into the second half of 2015 with strong momentum in the enterprise market for video/audio streaming solutions. The debuts of Ramp Video Live, the Ramp Multicast Engine and Ramp Recommends have propelled new customer engagements with Fortune 100 and 500 companies, as well as expanded deployments with several current customers.

Ramp's enterprise revenue grew 59% in the first half of the year over the same period last year, and enterprise adoption was the fastest growing sector of Ramp's sales. New F100 and F500 customers include industry-leading brands in the energy sector, educational online services, biopharmaceuticals, consumer and professional products, and integrated digital technology.

Enterprise customers who want to maximize the value of their digital audio and video assets have responded enthusiastically to Ramp's recent product introductions. A Fortune 100 company, for example, with more than 100,000 employees globally is among the first to deploy the Ramp Multicast Engine for live video webcasts.

Said Tom Wilde, CEO of Ramp: "As video usage explodes in the enterprise, businesses are finding new ways to reach both internal and external audiences. With the launch of the Ramp Multicast Engine, Ramp now has an end-to-end solution for the management, publishing, and delivery of enterprise video content, with all the benefits of a cloud-delivered solution."

In addition, Ramp Recommends is under trial with a dozen current Ramp customers, including three of the largest media companies in North America. Meanwhile, Ramp Video Live, which was designed to make the production of live video webcasts easier and more cost effective, has been adopted by five Fortune 500 companies with many others currently evaluating the solution for subscription.

By anticipating market needs and staying ahead of the technology curve, Ramp has earned a reputation for innovation. The Aragon Research Globe for Video Content Management, released in May, named Ramp as an "Innovator." In October 2014, Gartner included Ramp in the "Visionaries" quadrant in its Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Video Content Management.

Many customers and partners attended Ramp Innovations 2015 in June, the company's first user conference, which focused on the state of the art in digital audio and video streaming. Conference attendees shared best practices and learned about new Ramp products. All Ramp Innovations 2015 keynotes and main stage sessions were live streamed and recorded using Ramp Video Live, and can be viewed on demand here:
