CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Sept. 16, 2013) - The Ranche at Fish Creek Restoration Society is inviting Calgary and area media to a first time viewing of the completed Artisan Gardens at the Bow Valley Ranche at Fish Creek Provincial Park on Sunday, September 22, 2013. Location: The Ranche Restaurant at Fish Creek Provincial Park
Schedule of events: 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM - brunch
10:40 AM - Welcome by Mayor Naheed Nenshi
12:00 pm - Start of ceremony, open to the public
12:15 pm - Official welcome by the province and Area Manager of Fish Creek Provincial Park, Jim Stomp. City Alderman for Ward 14, Peter Demong and Cindy Ady from Tourism Calgary are also among the guest speakers.

Interviews and photos: There will be opportunities for photos and interviews throughout the event.

Announcement: Those in attendance will be among the first to see the completed Artisan Gardens and Branded Patio

The completed gardens, features 175 works of art by 72 Canadian artists all outdoors and open to the public year round. See the works of Robert Bateman, Paul Van Ginkel, Jason Go Go, Doug Swinton, Vilem Zach, Gernot Keifer, Alexandra Haeseker and artists from The First Nations, among others.

The Branded Patio displays the history of the brands of the Bow Valley Ranche, such as Pat Burns and William Roper Hull and features personalized mosaics designed by families and crafted by Pamela Rogers, a local artist.
