NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - November 23, 2010) - It is Official! Hip Hop legend and Rap icon Kurtis Blow is set to co-host the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards Television Show In April 2011 in NYC! This will be the first broadcast of the HHHOF Awards show since airing in National and International Syndication, as well as on the BET Cable Network now owned by MTV/Viacom.

Hip Hop Pioneers GrandMaster Caz, Easy A.D., Ice T, Lord Yoda, Popmaster Fabel, and Hip Hop Founder Kool Herc, will be on-hand today to "Meet & Greet" the Press and Global Media as they prepare for the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards TV Show in the spring, and the unveiling of the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Museum & Entertainment Complex the week of the Show.

The development will include the Hip Hop Hall of Fame, a Museum, Gift Store, Restaurant, Live Concert Lounge, and a state of the art Television Broadcast Studios on the premises. The Pioneers are participating with the developers, designers, and architects to ensure that the historical story of Hip Hop Music is preserved, archived, and told in the most accurate detail. Giving the attendees a unique historical perspective of the art form, plus interactivity with the exhibits to actually participate in the art form on-site, and leave with a sense of empowerment, understanding, and appreciation for Hip Hop Music and Culture and its impact on society.

Often imitated, but never duplicated, the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards is scheduled to make more announcements in the coming weeks including the 2011 HHHOF Inductee class that will be announced in January 2011. The Kick-Off of the Official HHHOF Social Networking website 'HipHopHoF.TV' and 'Fan Promotional Campaign' begins Wednesday, November 24, 2010.
