    * Results of five RC samples reveal presence of Rare Earth Element (REE) at the Company's Firawa Uranium Project,
        Guinea
    * Results exceed initial sample announced on 22 November 2010
    * Forte to re-assay all samples with the objective of calculating a JORC compliant REE resource at Firawa in
addition to the existing uranium resource

International uranium company Forte Energy NL (ASX/AIM: FTE; "Forte Energy" or "the Company") is pleased to announce
further Rare Earth Element (REE) assay results that provide a higher level of encouragement that a substantial body of
REE mineralisation may exist within the Company's 100% owned Firawa Uranium project, Guinea.

As announced on 22 November 2010, the Company announced initial positive REE assay results from one metallurgical
sample following routine metallurgical analysis. The Company stated at the time that, while this result was
interesting, more work was required to determine the significance. To this end, five RC samples were selected from
previous drilling and submitted for REE assay at ALS Laboratories in Sweden. The samples were chosen from various
parts of the Firawa ore body so as to provide as broad a view as possible.

As shown in Table 1, REE assays from these five samples exceed that from the first sample and provide the Company with
some comfort that REE mineralisation is wide spread throughout the Firawa system.

The Firawa JORC compliant Uranium resource was calculated from approximately 7000 drill samples, most of which remain
intact, stored on site at Firawa. Following these successful intermediate REE results, the Company has taken the
decision to commence the process of re-assay of all of these samples, with the objective of calculating a JORC
compliant REE resource at Firawa in addition to the existing uranium resource.

It is hoped that this re-assay project can commence in January 2011.
