Rauxa Appoints Kate Daggett as Chief Creative Officer

An Award-Winning Creative Executive, Daggett to Oversee Work Across Clients From Verizon to Alaska Airlines

COSTA MESA, CA--(Marketwired - July 25, 2016) - Rauxa, the largest woman-owned advertising agency in the U.S., today announced the appointment of creative powerhouse Kate Daggett as its Chief Creative Officer. She is an award-winning creative director with more than 15 years of experience developing and translating brands through digital, social, print and TV. Based in the agency's growing New York City office, Daggett leads Rauxa's creative team across the country.

Daggett joins Rauxa from Tenthwave Digital, where she served as the Executive Creative Director. During her tenure there, she evolved the agency's creative offering, led substantial new business wins and built a team that delivered award-winning work to the likes of American Express Merchant Financing, the Specialty Food Association, Red Roof Inn and Duncan Hines. Daggett ultimately played a key role in the agency's recent acquisition with Wire Stone earlier in 2016. Previously, Daggett was Vice President and Group Creative Director with Digitas, where she oversaw the American Express business. Earlier in her career, she held senior creative roles with TBWA\Chiat\Day and Agency.com.

"As Rauxa grows, it's a great time to add Kate to our team, and allow her vision and passion for insight-driven creativity to take our work to the next level," commented Ian Baer, Chief Strategy Officer, Rauxa. "We are huge fans of Kate's work, leadership, innovative spirit and integrity. We're excited about evolving our creative offering and thrilled that Kate is calling Rauxa home."

Rauxa has grown consistently since its inception nearly two decades ago, working with a steadily growing roster of clients that includes Gap Inc., Verizon and Alaska Airlines. The addition of Daggett comes on the heels of Rauxa's announcement of its position as the largest woman-owned advertising agency in the U.S., founded by direct marketing maven Jill Gwaltney and led by long-time Rauxan CEO Gina Alshuler.

"As a female creative, it's hard not to love the fact that Rauxa is predominantly female-led. But beyond that, I saw an independent spirit and a deeply-routed tenacity in Rauxa that was exciting. They've nurtured a thriving culture and cultivated a prestigious client roster that I'm eager to sink my teeth into. We're going to make to make exceptional, award-winning work that will undoubtedly drive our clients' business amidst a rapidly evolving world -- and we're going to have a lot of fun while doing it," shared Daggett.
