The Government of Canada is so proud to honour his efforts and celebrate this accomplishment together with him."

The Honourable Hunter Tootoo, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard

"I have been lucky to have lived all my life never feeling that working with fish and fish habitat was a job. Living a life with people who also have a love for fish and wildlife conservation has been a real gift and seeing grandchildren who also learn is an inspiration."
