RaySat Antenna Systems' StealthRay™ Awarded FCC License

Innovative Two-Way Antenna System Is First Low-Profile, Ku-band Land Mobile Satellite Application With Broadband Capabilities to Receive FCC Green Light

VIENNA, VA--(Marketwire - February 26, 2008) - RaySat Antenna Systems, LLC (RAS), a leading provider of innovative in-motion, two-way satellite antennas and communications solutions, today announced that its low-profile StealthRay™ antenna system has been awarded an FCC license to provide commercial service throughout the contiguous United States (CONUS).

"FCC approval of StealthRay™ is a milestone for the satellite communications industry and a significant breakthrough for RAS," said David Gross, CEO of RAS. "StealthRay™is the first and only low-profile, land mobile antenna with broadband and Ku-band capabilities to have secured an FCC license. The license allows RAS to meet the broadcast on-the-move requirements of commercial and military end-users who often need to train on our satellite antenna system in the U.S. in preparation for in-the-field use domestically and abroad."

In addition to government and military satellite communications on-the-move (SOTM), the license will facilitate the deployment and use of StealthRay™ for news gathering (SNG), disaster recovery, emergency response, and other land mobile satellite service (LMSS) applications.

On February 15, 2008, RAS received multiple LMSS network licenses that allow RAS to operate the StealthRay™ on seven CONUS satellites. Initially, these licenses will cover the operation of as many as 400 StealthRay™ mobile earth terminals.

"Until now, Ku-band land mobile broadband operations in the United States were conducted under temporary or experimental approvals. This FCC license gives RAS the regulatory 'green light' that will help us transform emerging broadband land mobile satellite services into a viable and significant segment of the mobile telecommunications marketplace," said Ilan Kaplan, president of RAS. "The license represents the culmination of three years of diligent effort on our part and brings us closer to that goal."
