OVERLAND PARK, KS--(Marketwired - June 27, 2013) - RAZ Mobile, a leading innovator in the mobile engagement and fundraising industry, is thrilled to congratulate its customer, ArtsKC, on the recent achievement of their fundraising goal for their one-day, Summer Solstice #timetogive fundraising campaign held this past Friday, June 21, 2013.
The ArtsKC #timetogive campaign sought to raise $14,559 which corresponds to the amount of daylight or "time to give" during the June 21st summer solstice of 14 hours, 55 minutes and 9 seconds.
One vital channel in the array of fundraising tactics ArtsKC used for their campaign was a #timetogive mobile donation page on the RAZ Mobile platform. Of the goal amount, over 70%, or over $10,300 of the amount, was raised through ArtsKC supporters' mobile phones via the #timetogive mobile fundraising page on the RAZ Mobile platform.
ArtsKC Fund Director Kate Forristall described the RAZ Mobile platform as "easily the best model of mobile giving"… in terms of cost and exposure through synched offline-online promotion. Forristall also mentioned that in terms of the service she received in support of ArtsKC's use of the RAZ Mobile platform, "I wanted to use RAZ Mobile because I knew it would be much better customer service and I was absolutely right."
"We are so happy for our customer ArtsKC!" said Dale Knoop, CEO of RAZ Mobile. "Their use of our platform for their #timetogive campaign points out what we've always believed and that is donors of all ages are ready to give through their mobile phones if you make it easy for them and if you make the call-to-action through social media and other mobile-centric tools like text messages and QR codes."
Promotion of the campaign by ArtsKC was achieved primarily via their Twitter and Facebook pages, email, a #timetogive QR code and text messaging. By using these channels to promote the campaign, word of the campaign spread fast among their supporters via their social media and certainly played a large part in the success of the campaign.
By making their mobile campaign page on the RAZ Mobile platform available in these channels, donors to the campaign were able to respond immediately with donations since their mobile phones were the place they received the calls to action. In addition, the RAZ Mobile platform provided real-time reporting to ArtsKC during the campaign. "As a customer, I would say the real-time campaign measurement tools are one of the greatest features of RAZ Mobile," commented Sara Vogt from ArtsKC.
"We definitely feel the future of giving any amount you choose to any cause you support is about to become a mainstream, mobile phone-dominated activity and the success that ArtsKC was able to achieve on our platform for this one-day campaign is a great success story for any nonprofit thinking about using our platform to follow," mentioned Knoop.
