RC21X Joins Startup Health Academy & Community of Healthcare Transformers

Brain Health Monitoring Firm Chosen by StartUp Health to Join Its Portfolio of Digital Health Companies Working to Transform Health Care

CORAOPOLIS, PA--(Marketwired - Jul 20, 2016) - RC21X, creators of a web-based application that allows consumers and clinicians to track users' neurocognitive and neuromotor performance in minutes, has been selected to join StartUp Health and its exclusive Academy for digital health entrepreneurs.

"We are excited to be recognized as a progressive, up-and-coming company -- especially given the tough competition to be selected," says Clarence Carlos, RC21X CEO. "More importantly, guidance from StartUp Health and access to its networks will be crucial in accelerating our growth. This is an important step in our efforts to provide a full suite of services built around brain health."

StartUp Health is leading a global movement to transform health by organizing and investing in the world's largest community of Healthcare Transformers. The selection process is extremely competitive and those companies selected to join StartUp Health Academy get access to coaching, community, industry access and promotion aimed at successfully navigating the complicated health care industry.

"We are thrilled to welcome RC21X and their team to the StartUp Health family," said Polina Hanin, Director of StartUp Health Academy. "We're inspired by visionary entrepreneurs with such passion and purpose. And RC21X is on a mission we care deeply about -- unlocking the mysteries of the brain and brain health. We're excited for what's to come."

The selection by StartUp Health is the latest in a series of high-profile contracts for RC21X. The company will be rolling out its brain performance monitoring services to NovaCare Physical Therapy and its nearly 2,000 facilities nationwide. Additionally, RC21X reached agreements with law firms Persky, Goldberg and White, Heard Robins Cloud and Zimmerman Reed for monitoring former National Football League players as part of the league concussion settlement. It also signed a contract for monitoring the student body of Jacksonville State University.

RC21X's Carlos says the agreement with StartUp Health should open many doors for his company. "We now have access to the best and brightest," he says. "We're confident that it will add great value for our customers and our investors."

RC21X is based on more than 50 years of scientific research in the fields of human performance measurement, neurology, psychology, kinesiology, bio-engineering and General Systems Performance Theory. RC21X features objective measures and data-based records. It allows users to continually compare real-time results to what is normal for them -- and only them. All that is needed is a PC, a mouse and an Internet connection.
