OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Dec. 4, 2015) - The Royal Canadian Air Force is honoured to conduct a CC-130 Hercules flyby over the National Military Cemetery around 1:40 p.m., Sunday, December 6, 2015.
The flyby is in support of the Wreaths Across Canada event where a wreath will be placed on the headstone of every veteran buried in the National Military Cemetery.
The aircraft will fly over the Beechwood Cemetery at an altitude no lower than 500 feet above the highest point of its route before resuming a higher flying altitude for the return trip to 8 Wing Trenton. These flybys are carefully planned and closely controlled to ensure public safety at all times.
