reWORKS Helps City of Oshawa Go Green

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 4, 2007) - reWORKS Environmental Corp. (TSX VENTURE:REW), today announced that the City of Oshawa has placed a second order for Forterra worm castings products. Forterra products are produced by reWORKS' wholly-owned operating subsidiary, Forterra Inc.

"We commend the City of Oshawa for their initiative in making an organic purchase decision," said Don Green, Chairman of the reWORKS Board,. "With the growing public pressure for eco-friendly solutions, municipalities are taking a hard look at organic soil care. We are proud that Forterra can provide an option that up to now has not been available,-worm castings, in large quantities that are economically viable for large mass scale users."

Sports fields are highly worn down with constant traffic on a regular basis, and any rejuvenation solution has to be very effective. Some municipalities are using compost for this purpose but compost alone is not the answer, as they can't wait years for it to take effect. Worm castings work quickly in restoring the soil and turf surfaces.

"The City of Oshawa's order is a significant one for us," said Gary Gould, President of Forterra Inc. "Forterra is now on the map as a proven organic solution that is economically viable for all municipalities and all other large mass scale users."
