Edmonton Regional Tourism Group plans your summer so you don't have to- with daytrips for every weekend and new savings too.

Treat your mother-in-law to a garden pond tour and give hubby the birthday ever with ten laps around the track in a real NASCAR. Afternoons shopping with the girls and the best places to take Grandma for teatime - Edmonton's Countryside has an outing for every weekend all summer long. And with their new Privilege Card, you'll save money at every stop.

We'll plan your perfect day

In every direction from Edmonton, you'll find places to visit, shop and eat and experiences only the countryside can provide. This spring, we started collecting our very favourites on our blog and organizing them into easy-to-use daytrip itineraries.

We gathered information on all the greenhouses east of the city- so you can pick and choose depending on how much time you have (and room left in your garden). We've also planned days around tea houses, museums and perfect-for-mom places.

And we are designing a new daytrip itinerary each month- plus up-close profiles of our most recommended experiences- so follow along with the Edmonton's Countryside blog. In June, we bring together all the things that go- racecars, vintage biplanes and great big construction equipment (all just minutes south of the city). I'll bet you know a little (or big) kid that will really like that.

And we'll save you money too

Edmonton's Countryside has also launched a new Privilege Card program that provides cardholders with special offers around the city.

Take the whole family to the Edmonton International Raceway for $40 - hotdogs, pop and tickets to the race all in. Or get 25% off lovely frillies and country finery at the Carvel General Store. Two-for-one admission, discounts on souvenirs and free goodies are up for grabs.

The card is $10 a year for access to special savings all year long. Sign up for your card at edmontonscountryside.com.
