ReadyU Presents The Ultimate Style Sweepstakes for College Students Nationwide

ReadyU Is Teaming Up With Celebrity Stylist, Jen Rade, to Offer Tips & Tools to Help Students Put Their Best Foot Forward This Summer

CINCINNATI, OH--(Marketwire - April 7, 2011) - As summer approaches and college courses begin to wind down, Procter & Gamble (P&G) (NYSE: PG) wants to help students prepare for their important and exciting summer internships. ReadyU is a program dedicated to supporting college students by helping them navigate the journey of life outside the classroom. The program is supported by over 150 colleges throughout the country and is championed by campus ambassadors with dedicated events featuring select P&G products, which assist students in succeeding in those important moments that go beyond the average curriculum.

To arm students with the skills needed to put their best foot forward this summer, ReadyU has partnered with Celebrity Stylist, Jen Rade. Ranked as one of Hollywood's Most Powerful Stylists(1), Jen will provide beneficial hints in order for future CEOs to rock their internships. "When starting an internship, you should always consider the impression you're making, which is communicated through everything from your grooming to your clothing choices. It's important to be polished from head to toe," says Jen. "However, the last thing busy students want to stress about is finding beauty and grooming products that help them look professional. Through the ReadyU campaign, P&G is offering great performance products that provide students with easy solutions for looking their absolute best. These products allow students to spend more time and attention on what's most important -- succeeding in their internships, as opposed to worrying about their appearance."

Following are tips and tools from Jen on easy ways to look like YOU rule the corner office this summer:

Ladies, less is more in the workplace when it comes to hair and makeup.
The worst thing you can do is make too much of a statement. No one wants to be remembered as "the girl who drew on her eyebrows" or "bed head," right? Your hairstyle should be neat and polished. Also, try pulling your hair away from your face; this can help you come across as more alert and "ready to go." For a professional look, try Pantene products for customized solutions based on your hair type.

Approach your makeup very much like your hair: clean, classic and conservative. Keep coverage light and daytime appropriate and save the more playful colors for post-work festivities. COVERGIRL Lash Blast Fusion and Nature Luxe Lip Gloss allow you to play-up your eyes and achieve a flawless lip, while still looking polished and professional. When in doubt, remember... don't overpower your natural beauty, less is definitely more and the goal should be to enhance what you've got!

Gentlemen, this is not the frat house.
Don't let your scent enter the room before you do -- you definitely want to avoid wearing cologne that's too overpowering, but you also don't want people to know you went to the gym that morning. Old Spice Swagger has a line of products that are light enough to keep you smelling fresh throughout the day, but won't knock anyone out. You want to make a strong impression based on the amazing work you're doing, not based on the way-too-strong smell you leave behind!

And while scruff might get the ladies' attention on campus, it can actually help you get overlooked in the office, as it can come across as messy. When's the last time you saw a CFO in need of a shave? Keep yourself in the game with a smooth daily shave using Gillette Fusion HydraGel Pure and Sensitive Shave Gel and the ProGilde Razor.

Dazzle the execs with your bright, white smile.
Nothing says you take good care of yourself more than a glowing smile with pearly white teeth. We all know it's tough to get up in the morning and sometimes coffee or tea may be essential to the AM routine. However, coffee and tea stains may dull even the nicest smile. Crest 3D White Whitestrips 2Hour Express and Crest 3D White Advanced Vivid toothpaste are a fast fix, allowing you to smile with confidence.

Remember -- dress for the job you want, not the job you have.
Dressing for success isn't the only thing you need to think about as an aspiring professional, but it's very important. While you're still getting a feel for the office culture, be sure to dress simply -- no need for over-accessorizing here. Your wardrobe should also be crisp and bright. Tide Original with ActiLift keeps your clothes as fresh as possible and this formula helps remove stains even if they occurred two lunches ago! That being said, you should always have a Tide-to-Go pen handy just in case a stain mishap happens right before a big meeting.

ReadyU is also helping four lucky students kick off their summer internship in complete style. Beginning April 8th, college students nationwide will have the opportunity to enter The ReadyU Ultimate Style Sweepstakes. The four winning students (chosen at random) will be awarded a $1,000 Visa Gift Card to help them accessorize and dress their best, along with an intern survival pack, featuring essential products from P&G brands including, COVERGIRL, Pantene, Old Spice, Gillette, Tide and Crest.
