Fuchs says, "I am thrilled to be included in this group of extremely accomplished and passionate women. The honor comes as Fuchs is working to establish the funding for Real Medicine Foundation's Hospital Consortium Project in Haiti, a joint effort to make quality healthcare at three previously private hospitals available to the public and offer 24-hour care to those in Port-au-Prince. Fuchs says, "This will be a new model for healthcare in Haiti; our project increases in patient flow from 5,800 to 20,500/month within the first year. The RMF consortium project has already been approved by the Interim Haiti Recovery Commission (IHRC), and the Haitian Ministry of Health."

Real Medicine Foundation operates and coordinates healthcare clinics in tandem with local healthcare providers. The organization has maintained a steady presence in Haiti since the nation's earthquake nearly one year ago. RMF focuses on providing communities with self-perpetuating solutions and clinics, while also taking steps to strengthen the foundations of healthcare, such as establishing the first ever accredited School for Nursing and Midwifery in South Sudan
