Reality TV Star Nick Hawk Talks Strippers, His New Book, and Being More Than Just a Gigolo

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 17, 2015) -  Nick Hawk's freewheeling, risk-driven personal life and career as a multi-faceted media personality and entrepreneur make him a modern day Renaissance Man.

A former Air Force marksman and crew chief and an accomplished martial arts expert and 2014 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Champion, Nick is best known as the star of "Gigolos," Showtime's hit reality show about the lives of five male escorts in Las Vegas, recently renewed for a sixth season.

Nick's tagline on "Gigolos" is "I break a sweat six days a week," but in real life, he says, there are always a hundred different ideas battling it out for space in his mind -- and that intense work ethic was driving him long before he was a TV star. In true "Magic Mike" style, his post college jobs included stripping, bartending and personal training. In 2008, his notoriety landed him on the cover of Men's Health UK. His passion for self-expression includes having tattoos of all sizes and kinds; in July 2015, Inked Magazine did a feature and photo spread highlighting his body art.

Nick also owns and operates Explicit Strippers, which books male and female strippers for private parties, including bachelor, bachelorette and birthday bashes. Explicit Strippers now has locations in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Hawaii.

In 2013, while working on the show, his entrepreneurial spirit kicked up another notch and he released The Nick Hawk Gigolo Line of toys and other novelties, which include over 20 items.

Nick is currently putting the finishing touched on his upcoming breakthrough volume Nick Hawk's 100 Kicks In The Ass: A Guide To Reach Your Full Potential & Gain Confidence.

A provocative, multi-talented performer, beat maker, poet and wordsmith, Nick has released a total of ten singles, including the hits "Leave With Me," "Tippin N Sippin" and "We Like to Show Off." He calls his latest track, the powerhouse metal/rap anthem "We Fight," his masterpiece, and it's got serious potential to be a stadium rocker in the vein of Queen's "We Are The Champions." Nick also shows a sense of humor in his music. "Everybody's Got A Little Country In 'Em" is a quirky, steel pedal driven charmer that will be featured on "Gigolos" this upcoming season.
