Recognized Lifeboat Manufacturer Nautic & Art of Windsor Continues to Have the Wind in its Sails

WINDSOR, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Oct. 15, 2014) - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, took the opportunity while in Sherbrooke today to announce that the firm Nautic & Art Inc. has been granted financial assistance to improve its productivity, develop new products and pursue its growth.

This assistance is being awarded in the form of a $130,000 repayable financial contribution through CED's Quebec Economic Development Program.

Quick facts

• This support will enable Nautic & Art to design and manufacture new professional lifeboats that meet the requirements of police departments and coast guard services, among others.
  
  
• These fully Canadian-made products will also be sold on the international market, including in Colombia, a country with which Canada recently signed a free-trade agreement.
