Recrutech.ca Renamed Techjobs.ca, Features Over 500 Engineering Jobs

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - March 16, 2011) - On the occasion of the Montreal Job and Training Fair, Recrutech.ca, the job board for engineers and technologists, announces that it is changing its name to Techjobs.ca, in order to better respond to candidates' expectations.

Created in 2006, the bilingual site currently has more than 500 job ads in technical fields throughout Canada. It has become a reference for engineering jobs, with employers such as Rio Tinto, Alstom, SNC Lavalin, Genivar, Hydro Québec and Gaz Métro. There are ads for jobs in civil engineering, operations and production, biology, defence, energy, and the environment, for positions as officers, technicians, engineers, project managers and directors, etc. "With the recovery of industry, aerospace, energy and construction are especially dynamic right now, and job postings have exploded over the past few months," explains Manuel Francisci, President of jobWings Careers and founder of Techjobs.ca.

An overhauled interface

Techjobs.ca has also benefited from an updated page layout. Job ads are easier to read, and the search engine is faster. In addition, job alerts have been optimized to better target ads to candidates' profiles.

Users can now consult Techjobs.ca job ads from any mobile device—including iPhones, Blackberries, iPads, and Android devices—sign up for job alerts, and transfer interesting ads in just a few clicks.
