Red Foundry Chosen as Finalist in Illinois Technology Association Citylights Awards

Red Foundry Selected in New Concept Category Highlighting Their Innovative Mobile App Development Solutions

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - Apr 27, 2011) - Red Foundry, the company behind the mobile app development platform that enables anyone to build mobile apps without the code, has been selected as a finalist for a 2011 Illinois Technology Association (ITA) CityLIGHTS Award in the "New Concept" category. Unveiled in early 2011, Red Foundry's breakthrough technology makes it easy for any organization, from small to mid-sized businesses to enterprise level global corporations, to design and build beautiful and relevant mobile apps that can quickly ignite their mobile initiatives.

Red Foundry enables all of its users to integrate unique features into their apps, including intelligent analytics, push notifications, hundreds of API connections, and user-generated content without touching any code. Red Foundry also makes it possible for users to completely customize their apps with RFML (Red Foundry Markup Language), a simple markup language that is intuitive for anyone with basic HTML or XML knowledge.

"Red Foundry has fundamentally redefined the business of mobile apps," said Jim Heising, CEO and founder of Red Foundry. "By providing organizations with a complete business solution to their mobile app challenges, Red Foundry has reduced the time it takes to develop mobile apps from months to days without compromising beauty, utility, or originality. With Red Foundry, customers have reduced mobile app development cost by as much as 80 percent. We are honored that ITA has recognized our innovation and achievements by selecting us as a CityLIGHTS finalist."
