Red Pine Exploration to Commence Next Phase of Drilling on SaraCourt Property in Swayze Greenstone Belt, Near Timmins

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 25, 2010) - Red Pine Exploration Inc. ("Red Pine" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:RPX) announces that it will commence its next phase of drilling November 2, 2010 on the SaraCourt Property, located in the Swayze Greenstone Belt, southwest of Timmins.

The drilling results announced in Red Pine's October 21, 2010 press release were successful in determining the dip and azimuth of a mineralized zone, which is open along strike and at depth. Three dimensional modeling of the Michelle Zone drill results reveals that gold mineralization is striking 85 degrees and dipping -75 degrees. Drill Program

Drilling will consist of approximately twelve diamond drill holes, focusing on two of the multiple gold-bearing zones identified to date on the SaraCourt Property – the Krista Zone and an extension of the Michelle Zone.

A permanent, all-season camp will be constructed on site, which will allow the Company to carry out its exploration programs throughout the fall and winter season. The Company has more than sufficient funds to conduct its operations through the calendar year.

Drill results to date on the Michelle Zone has confirmed numerous gold-bearing, extensive shear vein systems that are open along strike and at depth (as detailed in Red Pine's Oct 21, 2010 press release). This upcoming exploration phase will focus on additional drill holes further to the east and at greater depths.

Targets on the Krista Zone will investigate the greater than 600 metre long shear-vein system that was discovered during the first phase of drilling. Detailed geological and geophysical mapping, outcrop hydro-washing and cross-sections completed during the first phase of drilling indicate this system has a signature with a strike length exceeding one kilometer, and appears to be open along strike and to depth.

Leading Edge Technology

The Company is currently undertaking a test of the magnetometric resistivity method (MMR) which is being conducted by Crone Geophysics. The experimental MMR configuration is being conducted both down hole and on surface. Starting with this upcoming phase, Red Pine will map the mineralization associated with the highest gold values. This underscores one of the Company's core operating philosophies to continue to utilize leading edge technology and the best available methodologies and personnel to conduct exploration.

About The SaraCourt Property

The SaraCourt Property is a regional land package of contiguous, high-potential gold properties totaling approximately 28,000 hectares of patented and unpatented mining lands.

Located in and along the newly defined DZ3 Gold Deformation Corridor, the Property holds a series of deformation zones and regional fault branches that host abundant gold showings and join the Destor-Porcupine Deformation Zone to the northeast, and join to the western extension of the Larder Lake Deformation Zone fault that branches to the southwest.

The Destor-Porcupine Fault Zone is spatially associated with gold deposits in the Timmins-Porcupine Gold Camp that have produced more than 65 million ounces gold to date.
