RedEye Brings Multi-Platform Control to CEDIA EXPO 2011

First iOS Remote Control System Now Compatible With PC and Android

WALTHAM, MA and INDIANAPOLIS, IN--(Marketwire - Aug 25, 2011) - ThinkFlood (, maker of award-winning RedEye universal remote control systems, has announced that they will present their multi-platform, networked remote controls at CEDIA EXPO 2011 in Indianapolis.

ThinkFlood introduced RedEye as the first end-to-end iOS remote control system in December 2009. Since that time, the company has added support for personal computers and the Android operating system. RedEye is now the leading multi-platform remote control, allowing customers to utilize virtually any smartphone, tablet, or PC in a variety of home automation applications.

"When we started designing products back in 2008 we recognized that networked mobility was going to change the market," said Adam Shapiro, Vice President of Operations for ThinkFlood. "In 2009 we gained early recognition for delivering the first system to focus on iOS remote control, but that was only the first step. Recent software updates have further established our lead in this changing space as more and more consumers come to rely on mobile devices not only for telephony, but also for complete home integration."

Most recently, ThinkFlood released version 2.7.0 of their RedEye mobile applications, allowing customers to use Android phones and tablets alongside iOS devices and personal computers to control home theater, lighting and HVAC equipment in their homes.

RedEye control products will be on display in Booth 5742 at the CEDIA EXPO.
