Redhawk Engages Investor Relations Consultant

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 27, 2006) - Redhawk Resources, Inc. (Redhawk) (TSX VENTURE:RDK)(FWB:QF7) is pleased to announce that it has engaged 314 Finance Corp. and its principal, Tasso Baras, of Vancouver, BC, to provide investor relations and communications services to Redhawk. The Company carefully selected 314 Finance Corp. to help increase its exposure to institutional and retail investors. The agreement with 314 Finance Corp. is effective October 1, 2006, and is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. The agreement with 314 Finance Corp. will expire on September 30, 2007 and thereafter is renewable upon mutual agreement of the parties. The agreement may be terminated by either party after December 31, 2006 upon 30 days' notice.

In consideration for its services, 314 Finance Corp. will be paid $5,000 per month during the term of the agreement plus pre-approved out-of-pocket expenses, which amounts will be paid from general working capital. In addition, Redhawk has granted 314 Finance Corp. an option to acquire up to 250,000 of its common shares at an exercise price of $0.48 per share exercisable up to October 1, 2008, in accordance with the current stock option plan, including the vesting provisions contained therein. 314 Finance Corp. advises that it does not currently hold any interests in or securities of Redhawk but may acquire securities of Redhawk in the future.

The agreement and the stock option grant remain subject to regulatory approvals.
