Redhawk Resources, Inc.: High Grade Copper Intersected, Drilling Continues to Expand Resources

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - March 5, 2007) - Redhawk Resources, Inc. (TSX VENTURE:RDK)(FRANKFURT:QF7), through its wholly owned subsidiary, Redhawk Copper, Inc., is pleased to announce the following drilling results on the Company's Copper Creek Project. The Copper Creek Project is a Laramide Age porphyry copper/molybdenum mineralization system located in the prolific SW Arizona Porphyry Copper District. The Copper Creek Project is located in the Bunker Hill Mining District approximately 15 air miles northeast of San Manuel, AZ. The copper/molybdenum mineralization is hosted in breccia pipes and "stockwork" to disseminated deposits. Current drilling is focused on expanding resources in the higher grade breccia deposits and exploration of other breccias in the district. The following drill results are from the Mammoth Breccia deposit.

Previous Drilling

Three core holes drilled by Redhawk's predecessor on the Mammoth Breccia were not split and assayed. Redhawk has now geologically logged, split with diamond saw or hydraulic splitter, and assayed these three holes at ALS Chemex laboratories. The following are the significantly mineralized intervals within the breccia. This assay information was not a part of the resource study conducted by Independent Mining Consultants in mid 2006 on the Copper Creek property.

Redhawk is encouraged by the results from the current drilling program in the Mammoth Breccia. Future drilling will include several additional holes to test undrilled or widely drilled portions of the Mammoth Breccia.

All drilling core is kept in the possession of the drillers until picked up at the drill site by Redhawk personnel or delivered by the drillers to the Redhawk core facility in San Manuel, AZ. The core is then geologically and geotechnically logged and marked for assaying by Redhawk geologists. The core is then sawed or hydraulically spilt by supervised personnel. Split core is delivered ALS Chemex assaying facilities in Reno or Elko, NV by Redhawk personnel or by a licensed commercial trucking company. Pulp standards are included with every assay job and selected core pulps and rejects are check assayed with BSI Inspectorate in Reno, NV. Both ALS Chemex and BSI Inspectorate are ISO registered laboratories. All core material receives industry standard sample preparation and assaying for all elements tested. Pulp standards are assayed with industry standard methods.
