Redhill Comments on Tembo Gold's Drill Results

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 22, 2012) - Redhill Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:RHR) ("Redhill" or the "Company") is pleased to report on related exploration activities near its Nyakagwe Properties located in Tanzania, East Africa.

Redhill's Nyakagwe Properties are strategically located on the Bulyanhulu regional trend within six kilometres of Barrick Gold's 12 million-ounce Bulyanhulu gold mine. The Nyakagwe Properties consist of forty-six primary mining licenses (PML's) and one prospecting license (PL) encompassing a combined area of approximately 500 hectares surrounded entirely by prospecting licenses and applications for prospecting licenses owned and presently being explored by Tembo Gold Corp. ("Tembo").

On June 7, 2012, Tembo reported on drilling (core and reverse circulation (RC) results) from their Ngula 1 target, in close proximity to Redhill's PML 243. Please refer to the map of the Nyakagwe Properties, which can be viewed at www.redhill-resources.com.

Tembo's drill hole TRC0013R with a reported intersection of 17.23 grams per tonne (g/t) gold (Au) over four metres, including 48.8 g/t Au over one metre from 19 metres and 13 g/t Au over one metre from 104 metres, is located approximately 45 metres west of the western boundary of Redhill PML 243.

Tembo's drill hole TDD0004, located approximately 145 metres west of the boundary of Redhill PML 243 and 100 metres west of TRC0013R, returned 3.13 g/t Au over 25.89 metres from a depth of 41.00 metres.

Redhill's PML 243 trends in an east-west direction for approximately 450 meters, with a width of 200 metres.

On May 31, 2012, Tembo reported on artisanal sampling, with detailed maps indicating significant artisanal mining activity and hardrock workings (as inferred from Tembo's LiDAR 2011 survey). Tembo's survey indicated over 70 hardrock shafts on PML 243, trending from the western boundary, in a easterly direction, approximately to the center of the license, over a strike length of approximately 250 meters.

Tembo drill hole TDD0012 returned 8.60 g/t Au over 0.98 metre from 171.92 metres and is located 100 meters east of the eastern boundary of Redhill's PML 2953. The interpreted trend of the mineralization is also an east-west direction.

Tembo drill hole TDD0006, located 25 metres north of TDD0012, intersected another east-west mineralized structure 100 meters east of the boundary of Redhill's PML 2953, and returned 2.28 g/t Au over a width of 1.42 metres from a depth of 160.76 metres.

Redhill Resources President & CEO, Clive Massey stated, "We are very encouraged by these drill results and their close proximity to our tenement holdings. Our technical people will be reviewing them within the context of our upcoming exploration efforts."
