Redline and Intel Demonstrate RedMAX Products at WiMAX World in Boston

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 27, 2005) -

Visitors invited to experience RedMAX technologies that are set for deployment in multiple emerging markets

Redline Communications, a leading provider of standards-based broadband wireless equipment, will feature a live demonstration of its RedMAX® family of WiMAX™ products at WiMAX World in Boston on October 27 and 28, 2005. The RedMAX demonstration includes a link to the Intel Corporation booth at the event, which will support online video gaming and other high-bandwidth applications.

Redline is offering visitors to WiMAX World the opportunity to trial its RedMAX products, which will be among the world's first WiMAX products chosen for a large-scale telecommunications network. Earlier this week, Redline announced that Integrated Telecom Company Ltd. (ITC), a licensed data service provider in Saudi Arabia, will deploy RedMAX, along with telecommunications products from Cisco, as part of the (U.S.) $22.2 million first phase of its country-wide IP network implementation.

"WiMAX World is an excellent venue for us to showcase our RedMAX products, which have been chosen as the WiMAX solution for several large communications projects in key international markets," said Keith Doucet, VP of Marketing and Product Management. "We are excited to be working with Intel once again to conduct a live demonstration of a true 802.16 2004 based solution and to enable visitors to experience the capabilities of these early WiMAX products first hand."

The demonstration will take place at the Redline (#213) and Intel (#208) booths at the Boston Seaport Hotel and World Trade Centre. Redline will feature its high-bandwidth WiMAX base station and customer premise equipment (CPE) that includes the Intel® PRO/Wireless 5116 wireless modem silicon, and is expected to be WiMAX Forum Certified this year. The RedMAX products have also been featured in several live over-the-air demonstrations at public events around the world.
