Redrock Micro Wins "STAR" Award From Editors of TV Technology

Second Consecutive Year Redrock Is Recognized for Its Innovative Cinema Accessories

DALLAS, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 7, 2007 -- Redrock Micro cinema accessories received of the 2007 STAR (Superior Technology Award Recipient) Award given by the editorial staff of TV Technology magazine at the NAB2007 convention.

The STAR Award (Superior Technology Award Recipient) celebrates and showcases the preeminent technological innovations available to the broadcast industry. A panel of judges consisting of TV Technology editors and columnists reviewed a variety of products, examined the technical applications and their overall contribution to the industry, and then submitted their award nominees.

"Every year, the NAB show serves as the launching pad for thousands of new products and services for audio and video professionals," said Tom Butts, TV Technology Editor. "Our panel of editors walked the show floor in search of the most innovative technologies. The products and services that we selected for the STAR Award made the cut -- they demonstrated their ability to help advance the acquisition and distribution of entertainment and information across the media spectrum."

"We are once again honored and delighted to receive this recognition," said James Hurd, Chief Revolutionary for Redrock Micro. "Winning the Mario Award at NAB2006 was a highlight for us as well. Our current and future cinema accessories continue to revolutionize the cinema accessories market, making high production value filmmaking affordable to everyone."

Among the new products Redrock announced at NAB2007 included the microMattebox, microRemote (wireless remote follow focus), and microX, a 'flip' module for the award-winning M2 cinema lens adapter. The newly announced products are expected to retail for around $500 each, and are expected to ship in summer 2007. All Redrock products work with popular DV and HD/V cameras, including the Panasonic AG-HVX-200, the JVC GY-HD200 and HD250, the Sony HVR-V1U, and the Canon HV20 among many others.
