Redwood Software Announces Unprecedented Process Management With SAP® Central Process Scheduling by Redwood

An Impressive List of New Capabilities Makes SAP Central Process Scheduling by Redwood the De Facto Choice for Enterprise Process Automation

RALEIGH, NC--(Marketwire - September 30, 2010) -  Redwood Software announced today that it will introduce the upcoming release of the SAP® Central Process Scheduling application by Redwood -- an SAP solution extension -- at the SAP TechEd 2010 conferences in Berlin, Germany, October 12-14, and Las Vegas, NV., U.S., October 18-22. Expected to be released and available from SAP AG during the fourth quarter of 2010, the powerful process automation solution, in use already by many hundreds of SAP customers around the world, manages business and IT processes across SAP and non-SAP environments with real-time, event-driven process automation. The solution has always integrated SAP® solutions with the wider application environment, but now adds powerful new capabilities to offer total transparency and control for enterprise process automation.

"The SAP TechEd conferences provide the perfect venue for previewing the most advanced version of SAP Central Process Scheduling yet," said Steffen Schad, Director of Solution Management, SAP. "With the new capabilities in the upcoming release, we are taking the solution a major step forward. SAP customers can now truly put SAP Central Process Scheduling at the heart of their enterprises."

The new release of SAP Central Process Scheduling brings enterprise process automation to even the most complex, heterogeneous IT and business environments. The new version now fully supports virtual environments and offers comprehensive Web services -- both inbound and outbound -- to enable easy integration of even the most heterogeneous processing, from legacy to SOA-based and virtualized environments. In addition, process-focused systems management capabilities dynamically manage workload infrastructure to help ensure consistent, on-time, on-event execution of critical business processes.

The improved graphical user interface (GUI) and intuitive dashboards provide a single view of the entire enterprise processing environment and include a wider range of workload metrics including a graphical report on key job definitions. New application connectors allow a direct connection with even more critical enterprise applications, including the SAP BusinessObjects™ solution portfolio, Oracle E-Business Suite and Microsoft Dynamics.

"Our goal was to fully enable business process automation across the entire enterprise regardless of application or infrastructure," explains Andrew Evers, Chief Technology Officer at Redwood Software. "We are committed to helping our customers maximize the value of their existing technology environments as well as position them to easily add new business processes and emerging technologies in the future. SAP Central Process Scheduling by Redwood delivers on this commitment."

SAP Central Process Scheduling automates what matters most to SAP customers. From streamlining the financial period-end close to automating SAP system copy end-to-end, SAP customers lower costs and reduce risk while increasing control and transparency.
