Reflect Scientific Names Veteran Engineer and Executive William G. Moon to its Board of Directors


OREM, UT--(Marketwire - Apr 19, 2011) - Reflect Scientific, Inc. (OTCBB: RSCF), a provider of diverse products and services for the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and transportation industries, announced the addition of William G. Moon to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Moon brings a wealth of experience to Reflect Scientific Inc. His background includes positions of Principle Engineer and VP of Engineering at Quantum Corporation, the world's largest disk drive company, where he was instrumental in growing the company to over 10,000 employees. He co-founded Plus Development, a wholly owned Quantum subsidiary and played a pivotal role in the invention of the "Hardcard," the very first plug-in hard drive card. Mr. Moon also helped craft a partnership with Panasonic for the world's first totally automated disk drive assembly plant in Japan, which produced over 100 million disk drives over 5 years. As a board member not only will his business knowledge be used to steer the course of Reflect, in addition, he will be taking on key engineering tasks related to Reflects cutting edge liquid nitrogen cooling technologies. "Mr. Moon will be an invaluable addition to the Reflect team that will allow us to aggressively move our liquid nitrogen platform technologies to market. His first focus will be the Cryometrix CB-40 our environmentally friendly solution to diesel powered refrigeration for the trucking industry," said Dr. Boyd Bowdish, Principal Scientist for Reflect Scientific.

Mr. Moon has served on the board of directors of several technical ventures and is presently an active angel investor. He holds 15 patents and has several publications in computer trade magazines. Mr. Moon has a master's and bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from BYU, received the BYU Honored Alumni award, and served as an adjunct professor at BYU.

Mr. Moon will assume the Board seat of Dr. Craig Morrison, who has served on the Company's Board of Directors for over six years. Dr. Morrison will move to a leadership position on the newly formed Technical Advisory Board in the near future.
