Refresh Financial Asked Kids How They Get Money; Their Answers Are a Message to Parents Everywhere

To recognize Financial Literacy Month and underscore the importance of financial education, Refresh Financial sat down with six and seven-year-olds to ask them how they get money.

The results were amusing with "sometimes I find gold when I dig," "I would ask for it for my birthday" and "I don't know" among their answers.

While many kids seemed to have different levels of knowledge, the video of their interviews reinforces the need for parents to help their children understand money.

Refresh Financial's CEO, Michael Wendland, together with enRICHed Academy and Dragons Jim Treliving and Bruce Croxon, recently announced the launch of a nationwide financial literacy training program - Refresh FIT™ (standing for Financial Intelligence Training). The program aims to help adults learn basic money management skills.
