Regenerative Medicine Foundation to Host Grant Application Workshop at Annual Forum

WINSTON-SALEM, NC--(Marketwire - March 7, 2011) - The Regenerative Medicine Foundation announced today a Grant Application Workshop will be held in conjunction with the 2011 Translational Regenerative Medicine Forum. The Forum is taking place April 6-8 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC.

This two hour workshop was designed to provide attendees with best practices and strategies when applying for a grant from the various federal institutions. "The Grant Application Workshop was designed to help attendees gain understanding of the structure of federal institutions funding, like the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. There are a variety of tactics and key points which applicants should include when trying to obtain the robust, stable, and non-diluted source of capital to fund their research projects," says Rosemarie Hunziker, PhD, Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine Program Director, National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering.

"We are pleased to host this workshop with our annual Forum. The Foundation's mission is to advance the field of regenerative medicine and we strive to provide resources to help achieve this goal," says DaLaura Kader, the Regenerative Medicine Foundation Vice President of Strategic Initiatives.
