Reggie Durden-Player of the Week, Defensive Back Earns Honour for the First Time of his Career

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 12, 2005) - Veteran defensive back Reggie Durden was named Defensive Player of the Week today - the first such honour of his career.

Durden was honoured for a solid game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders during which he intercepted a Marcus Crandell pass, running it back 22 yards for a touchdown. He also registered eight tackles in the Alouettes' win against the Roughriders.

Durden is fifth on the Alouettes with 39 tackles and has two interceptions. He missed three games with an ankle injury.
