Registration for 2016 Candidate Experience Awards and Benchmark Programs Now Open

Employers Across the North America; Europe, the Middle East and Africa; and Asia-Pacific Regions Invited to Participate

SAN FRANCISCO, CA and LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - Mar 2, 2016) - Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the promotion and data benchmark research of a quality candidate experience, today announced that registration for the 2016 Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards and Benchmark programs is now open for employers in the North American (NAM), Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions. Through these complimentary programs, participating companies gain insight into how their candidate experience practices measure against their peers, while learning the latest tools and practices to optimize their recruiting processes.

"Over the past five years, the CandE Awards programs have grown considerably as more employers around the world continue to recognize the impact of the candidate experience on their ability to recruit, hire and retain top talent," said Gerry Crispin, co-founder of Talent Board. "We are pleased to announce the opening of our global 2016 programs and expect this year to be bigger than ever. We invite any company looking to gain a better understanding of its current candidate experience practices and the insight on how it can be improved to apply today."

Established in 2011, the CandE Award program has served as a benchmark to measure best practices in candidate experience. Based on in-depth surveys of employers' recruiting practices and questionnaires of participating companies' actual job candidates, the program illuminates the technologies and strategies that contribute to a positive, transparent and rewarding candidate experience. Over the past five years, Talent Board has evaluated the practices of more than 300 companies and collected feedback from nearly quarter of a million candidates, contributing to the largest study of candidate experience of its kind and an extensive database of academically validated candidate data.

For 2016, employers of all sizes are welcome to participate in any or all three of the NAM, EMEA or APAC programs. After registering, participants will go through three confidential rounds of evaluations and validation of their candidate experience practices. The first round consists of an employer self-assessment designed to capture and evaluate the company's recruitment processes and their impact on the candidate experience. Round 2 is a related survey of a random sampling of their 2015 and 2016 job candidates. The final round includes video interviews with employers about their approaches to improving the candidate experience.

All participants will receive aggregate survey data on how their candidate experience practices compare to other employers. They will also receive targeted insight on how their candidates rate the experience, giving them specific feedback on how they can improve the candidate experience. Top-ranked benchmark companies selected as winners of the CandE Awards will be recognized publicly for their excellence.

Registration for the NAM, EMEA and APAC programs is now open. Additional information about applying to the CandE Awards can be accessed at: http://www.thetalentboard.org/cande-awards/how-to-apply/.
