Registration Opens for CASMA Spring 2012 Conference

Agenda-Setting Airline Industry Conference Brings In-Depth Training and Critical Discussion to Sunny Jacksonville, Florida

ARLINGTON, VA--(Marketwire - Feb 14, 2012) - Registration, and early-bird pricing, is underway for the CASMA Spring 2012, the agenda-setting airline sales and marketing training event and conference. Slated for March 18 -21 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront, this year's spring CASMA event will once again be the epicenter for the most important discussions about airline sales and distribution. Executives from top airlines, GDSs and OTAs, including American, Delta, Frontier, United, HotWire and Amadeus, will gather with technology experts and industry leaders to share, debate and, often, decide on new approaches to revenue generation, data integration and more.

"Each time we gather for a CASMA Conference, the discussions get more compelling and the audience more engaged," said Mark Pond, president and chairman of the board of CASMA. "The complexity of the industry, the changing rules in the marketplace and the pace of technology all bring new fodder to each conference, and our ability to gather such a rich cross section of industry players to address the hot topics makes the value of CASMA unbeatable for attendees and sponsors alike."

Highlights sessions for this year's conference include:

  • A diverse and growing line-up of keynote presenters, including
  • A detailed explanation from Airlines for America on the new rules for airfare advertising and how they affect airlines and the industry.
  • An overview from ATPCO on new technologies for displaying and charging fees for add-on services.
  • Panel discussions on the future of mobile, social media and new models for personalization and revenue diversification.

"CASMA conferences are the place where thought-provoking speakers can address the challenging questions around evolving airline distribution models," said Graham Wareham, senior director, distribution and consumer direct, Air Canada. "No other conference in the industry offers better value or opportunity for a free exchange of ideas than CASMA."
