Registria Introduces Vice President of Sales, Ben Lockett

DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - May 10, 2016) - Registria, a SaaS company that is helping lifestyle and consumer electronics brands make a better connection to their customers, announced the strategic hire of Ben Lockett as vice president of sales to co-lead new client acquisition and driving customer engagement for its award-winning platform, Photoregister(SM).

As vice president, Lockett will help global brands recognize the value of optimizing customer engagement through mobile product registration and how it helps brands quickly and easily share product safety information, activate warranties or communicate recalls as well as build loyalty and uncover needs for new product opportunities.

Prior to 2014, consumers' product registration behavior was in decline. Brands offering traditional mail-in product registration cards or an address to a hard-to-find web page didn't see significant results. However, in 2014, Registria launched Photoregister, a mobile product registration solution that allows consumers to register their purchase by texting a photo of a registration code on the product. As a result, the company not only has seen product registration rates double, but the platform has also grown as a primary means for brands to identify their buyers.

Prior to Registria, Lockett, a former tank commander with the British Army, was co-founder and vice president of sales at AscentCRM, a company in the customer data platform industry focused on active lifestyle customers, where he was responsible for building solutions around integrated customer data, product registration and customer engagement. Lockett also gained relevant CRM, enterprise management experience working for Merkle, Unica and Business Objects.
