Reliant Gold Announces Grant of Options to Its Recently Appointed Independent Director

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 18, 2011) - Reliant Gold Corp. ("Reliant" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:REC) -

In connection with the June 13, 2011 appointment of Mr. Michael M. Boyd to Reliant's board of directors, the Corporation now wishes to announce that it has granted options to acquire 200,000 common shares of the Corporation at an exercise price of $0.10 per share to Mr. Michael M. Boyd pursuant to the Corporation's stock option plan. These options, which will vest quarterly over a period of twelve months, will expire on June 17, 2016.
