Remedy Interactive Awarded U.S. Department of Commerce Export Achievement Certificate for Expanding International Market

First Injury Prevention Solutions Provider to Win Export Honor

SAUSALITO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 18, 2006 -- Remedy Interactive, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise solutions that help Global 1000 companies reduce their workers' compensation costs, today announced that it received a prestigious Export Achievement Certificate from the U.S. Department of Commerce for its international market expansion of injury prevention solutions. This marks the first time that an injury prevention technology provider has won this distinction. Remedy Interactive also received a commendation from the Washington, D.C., office of California Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey.

Remedy Interactive's mission is to provide technology solutions that proactively address injury prevention and reduce costs associated with workplace injuries at large enterprises worldwide. The company began working with the U.S. Department of Commerce in 2002 to help achieve its mission and become an exporter of injury prevention solutions. In addition to a wealth of business resources, professional networks and guidance, the Department of Commerce provides Remedy Interactive with Safe Harbor certification, which ensures compliance with European Union data privacy regulations. With this certification, Remedy Interactive is better able to meet the needs of enterprises with operations in the European Union.

"Remedy Interactive is a good example of a U.S. company that exports not just sound commercial products, but ones with a positive ethic -- the protection and safety of workers worldwide," said Colleen Litkenhaus, deputy assistant secretary of domestic operations with the U.S. Commercial Service. "American companies like Remedy Interactive are our best ambassadors, so it is critical that we mentor them to help the U.S. create better economic ties with other businesses around the world."

The Export Achievement Certificate is given by the U.S. Department of Commerce in recognition of small and medium-sized enterprises that have successfully entered the international marketplace for the first time or that have successfully entered a new market. Fewer than 100 of these certificates are given annually. Remedy Interactive officials received their Certificate during a ceremony at Dominican University of California (the site of one of 109 Export Assistance Centers nationwide) in San Rafael, California on Thursday, August 24, 2006.

"We are honored by this recognition, and grateful for the support that the U.S. Department of Commerce provides Remedy Interactive," said Erik Andersen, Director of Strategic Partnerships for Remedy Interactive. "This Certificate validates our contribution to injury prevention and risk management, and confirms that we're on the right track in delivering effective technology solutions that help global companies maintain healthy employee work habits and environments."
