Remembering New Brunswick's Victims of Impaired Driving at Memorial Monument Ceremony

MONCTON, NB--(Marketwired - September 15, 2016) - MADD New Brunswick Chapters and Community Leader groups will come together with the families and friends of those killed as a result of impaired driving for a special memorial ceremony in Moncton this Sunday, September 18th.

The annual ceremony of hope and remembrance at the New Brunswick Memorial Monument for Victims of Impaired Driving gives family and friends an opportunity to pay tribute to their loved ones. The monument is inscribed with the names of 45 victims of impaired driving.

The ceremony includes a candlelight vigil to recognize and honour those victims, and all who have been affected by impaired driving. Joining victim families and MADD New Brunswick volunteers at this special ceremony will be elected officials and representatives from police services, fire departments and emergency medical services.
