OTTAWA, ON; DALLAS, TX and DRESDEN, GERMANY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 2, 2005 -- Accellera, the electronics industry organization focused on electronic design automation (EDA) standards (based in Napa, CA, USA), announced today that Accellera Chairman Dennis Brophy will be speaking on The Value of Standards: An Update on Current and Emerging Accellera Standards for Design and Verification during the EDA Tech Forums sessions in Ottawa, Dallas and Dresden. His talk will include a review of Accellera's recent standards transferred to the IEEE and the organizations plans for new design and verification standards that will improve electronic design.
