REMINDER/Media Advisory: Canadian Astronauts in Ottawa

Launch New Exhibition on Living in Space on May 12th and Question and Answer session with students on May 13th

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 12, 2011) - On Thursday, May 12th, Canadian astronauts will be on hand to inaugurate a new exhibition on living in space at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum in Ottawa.

All of Canada's astronauts contributed to the exhibition that will feature personal items, pictures and video from past missions. The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) developed this interactive exhibit to inspire and educate Canadian youth about science and technology.

On Friday, May 13th, Canadian astronauts will take part in a special Q&A session with students at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum.

On this occasion, the CSA is organizing its first-ever Tweetup event. Twenty lucky tweeters will be invited to attend the Q&A session which includes free access to the museum and the Living in Space exhibition. Tweeters are invited to visit the CSA website at www.asc-csa.gc.ca or the CSA Facebook page to register and obtain more information.

Both events will be broadcast live on the CSA Web site at www.asc-csa.gc.ca.
