REMINDER/Media Advisory/CIDA to Host a Technical Briefing: The Tsunami, One Year Later, Canada Helps Rebuild Devastated Communities

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 21, 2005) - The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and its tsunami matching fund partners will host a technical briefing for the media to provide information in anticipation of the one-year anniversary of the tsunami disaster.

Bob Johnston from CIDA, John Mulvihill from the Canadian Red Cross and Dave Toycen from World Vision will provide a brief outline of what has been accomplished in relief, rehabilitation, reconstruction, and what lies ahead. A number of other tsunami matching fund partners will be present and available to answer questions from the media.
